Last weekend, we went on a spur-of-the-moment camping trip to Hilton Head Island.

Turns out camping just meant sleeping outside, as we were at a gorgeous house that had giant wrap-around porches and a dock overlooking the marsh, twenty feet in the air.
We ate s'mores and cloud-gazed, drove around the dark woods in a topless jeep and fell asleep on the dock with down comforters. Maybe more my style of camping, anyway.

I LOVE Hilton Head. I've only ever stayed in hotels though... and this post makes me want to crawl right into my sleeping bag on the docks. Great photos. :)
Ahhh I used to go there once a year with my family! Those were the best beaches and spontaneous trips are always fun.
How beautiful. And I am definitely down for with your camping style, ha! :)
Camping in February seems like such an absurd concept to me. Oh, how I wish I would live just a little closer to the southern hemisphere. It looks like you had such a lovely time :)

Now that is camping I can get on board with!! What a grand adventure.
I thought that was snow in the first photo. Ah, I'm definitely a prairie girl.
What a magical trip!
