As France feels farther and farther away, certain songs make me weepy and still, all I ever want to eat is bread and cheese. Sometimes I start dreaming about those three months and I end up feeling paralyzed by how much I miss it.
That said, if I'm not going to be in France, I'm glad I can be in warm, sunny Charleston -- where oyster-eating and day trips to remote islands are totally normal January activities. No winter blues here.

i would love winter like this. and that first photo is so great - love the particles of sand out of focus!
I agree with Janis, this looks absolutely perfect to me!
My fiance and I just booked flights to Paris for our honeymoon. We plan on visiting Rome as well (along with many other cities, too!) What were your favourite parts of Paris?? That video is outstanding. xo
Olivia, think about how how privileged you are to have been able to experience those fantastic three months... Some of us are still wishing for them :p
It's so understandable that you miss them though, of course! Everyday life is beautiful if you really want to see it. And judging by your recent posts, I'm sure you sure are willing to!
Everything gets easier with time and will.

What's the name of the song playing on your Paris vid? I absolutely loved that song.
I know someday when I live in France for a time I will come home and miss it so much I will cry. But it is truly wonderful that you even got to go. And now that you're back home you can cherish such beautiful times with brilliant friends.

That feeling of being paralyzed with missing - I know it so well.
