I had an opportunity to catch a ride from Dordogne to Limoges for the weekend, so I decided to spend a lone few days there. I made a friend the night I arrived and it turned into a perfect little adventure.

I got to experience the city like a local -- moped tours at sunset, hidden restaurants on the water, a party at a house filled with interesting books and impressionist paintings.
The few days I spent in Limoges were so special thanks to Fodil and his family. It reminded me of what traveling is all about.
