Experiencing the elegance that is the French Riviera truly lived up to all my expectations -- the fluffy Jasper dogs, the chic supertan women wearing all black, the consistently perfect weather, the cute boys on powder blue mopeds with helmets to match.
We spent most of our time in Old Town Nice which is composed of narrow alleys (no cars allowed) and happening squares, colorful buildings with even brighter shutters, and about a thousand gelato shops (which we took full advantage of). Wandering, people-watching, and eating were pretty much our top priorities.

Oh, I am officially ready for a trip to the French Riviera now.
Also, those olives look delectable.

Oh my. Nice looks lovely. And those pastries with the berries look to die for.
i like nice. i have cousins who live there so i try to visit every year.
my only complaint is that it gets TOO hot!!!! but the water is beautiful, and old town is divine :)
So gorgeous! My parents kept our yacht in Nice (that sounds fancier than it is) for many years and sailing up and down that coast, and exploring Nice are vivid, beautiful memories of mine. Have you seen the huge pink house up on the hill yet? It's Elton John's :)
absolutely gorgeous! I will go there someday
