My sweet friends from Charleston visited the beach house this weekend. We watched sunsets from the dock, ate seafood steamer pots and climbed dunes, drank wine from the bottle, and buried Hailey in the sand. We had the perfect balance of relaxing, peaceful moments and laugh-till-your-cheeks-hurt moments. I miss them already.

Hailey and Ben just returned from a month in Europe, where Ben got to meet Mike and take the (second annual) road-trip to the Isle of Skye. The few photos he has shared so far are jaw-droppingly gorgeous.

once again- you make me long for our august beach trip! such lovely people and photographs of them.
My husband and I spent nearly a month in Scotland/England, including the Isle of Skye, for our honeymoon. I want to go back desperately (luckily, my husband has a job that could lead us there for several months at a time in the future).
This looks like so much fun! I always forget that I shouldn't read your blog when I'm hungry, though. :)
that salad's making my mouth water. i like the idea of adding pesto! sounds like a magical, joy-filled weekend, as usual :)
