Since the day after my eighteenth birthday when I moved to Charleston (knowing no one), sunset walks to the battery have been my best friend. Just feeling the breeze and seeing the pink sky puts everything in perspective, even if it's just for a fleeting moment.
The past few weeks Hailey and I have been making a point to go on a sunset walk every night we possibly can -- it will undoubtedly be the first thing I'm homesick for when I leave.
