scenes from my empty apartment.

empty apartment

AND we did it. With the help of nice mover men and sangria margaritas.

Last night I sat in the middle of my empty apartment listening to Beirut and thinking about all of the beautiful memories I have in this place. It was the perfect goodbye -- I felt completely at peace, ready to pave a fresh path for bright new adventures. (Then I went swimming with friends until five in the morning.)

Au revoir for now, Charleston!

Swimming til 5am! So fun.

ALSO: I made your baked penne with roasted veggies last night after months of wanting to. I have seriously had cravings for that pasta just from the pictures and description of it. Obviously, it was sososo good.

I visited Charleston on my drive down the East coast this April and absolutely loved it!! Walking by the row houses and on the battery was my favorite!! Plus all the horse and buggies and fancy sports cars!!
Good luck on your new adventure!!
