weekend.

The past four days, I've been tucked away in a magical little nook at the foothills of the Ozarks -- the Farm.

Ever since Hailey spent a summer there, growing her own food and filming a documentary, I've been dreaming about the farm -- and it was more beautiful than I even imagined. Endless rolling fields covered in flowers, patios settled into cliffs, curvy pathways encompassed by trees and fog, red barns brimming with character, mysterious hidden caves -- it was one adventure after the next after the next.

On the farm, reality feels so far away in the best sense. Normal life is a distant memory that no longer seems interesting and everything moves in slow motion, allowing you to actually feel and experience things before they pass you by.

The setting, the people, the food and drink, the lazy days and the invigorating adventures -- it was all too perfect. I miss it already.

So beautiful. The things I would do to find myself in a place like that right now. But hopefully all this April rain will in fact make for a very green summer!

And I am amazed and inspired by Hailey and the other four! I am taken by The Garden Summer and cannot wait to see the documentary! Thank you thank you thank you for sharing Olivia!

that's funny because she reminds me of my friend rachel from arkansas...maybe they are long lost twins. anyway, we have a farm in oklahoma which we have only ever called "the farm" as well. i feel a similar fondness for it!

MAGIC. And H's haircut is just killing me...very tempted to do the Big Chop when I get home from India.

What a truly magical time down there on the farm. Makes me incredibly homesick, to be perfectly honest! Big hugs from Jaipur! xoxo

Thanks for these--I needed to be reminded why living in the Ozarks is so magical. Today's been a rough day and I started wishing that I hadn't decided to move to Arkansas. But these--these remind of me of why I chose to move here. I'm going for a hike now!
