To end our week together, my family went on a quick trip to Savannah. Saying goodbye to them never gets easier. Though I thoroughly enjoyed a peaceful train ride back to my true love (Charleston), lots of long bike rides, mid-day roof top margaritas (it's summer weather!), a comedy show, and a "family" dinner with friends that combated my homesickness for my family.
And now it's an overcast Monday. As giddy as I get about sunshine, the dreary sky today is a nice change of pace. I love a good thunderstorm.

I love that I recognize places in these pictures!
p.s. I made your glorious, magical caramel salted brownies last night. My life is different now. xoxo

Aw. I'm so glad someone else feels the same way about sunshine.
I'm a hard core sunshine fan. But overcast days are nice too.
I just don't like them in more than 2 consecutive days.

i love a good thunderstorm and rainy day, too. after 9 months of the same weather here in san francisco, a rainy day is welcome!
Your weekend posts always have my heart aching. Charleston sounds like an absolutely wonderful place! Enjoy your thunderstorm, I love them too!
I can recognize the places from your photos! Did you go into the Paris Market on Broughton? It is one of my favorite stores! I love the photos.
that macaroni looks to die for!
Leaving family is never fun! So glad you had a good time with them, though -- and lots of fun things to distract from their absence :)
