Whenever I try to describe Savannah, I find myself at a loss for words. In some ways it's strikingly similar to Charleston and in others, it's completely different. I always stay for such short amounts of time so although I do feel familiar with it, I also find myself wanting to delve deeper into the soul of the city.
My cutie sister is thinking about going to SCAD. She is almost done with her junior year of high school (what!?), so college plans are rapidly transitioning from thoughts to realities. Isabel seems to be completely smitten with the city and the school, and I'm certainly not opposed; she would be less than two hours away from me.
The only alternative that would make me happier, on an entirely personal and selfish level, is Charleston. (We could be roomies!?)

That would be awesome if your younger sister decided to go to Charleston! My sister just decided to go to UGA (with me!), and while we can't be roommates (all freshmen must live in the dorms), I'm so excited that we will have the same breaks and will be able to carpool home and back together! Beautiful pictures, as always!
I love Savannah...wish I had gone to SCAD.
I love seeing those azaleas in bloom. I can't wait to find out what Isabel decides. SCAD is a great school!
I've never been, but it looks gorgeous!

Gorgeous pictures. Love the mossy trees and the atmosphere they create.
So I love Nicolas Sparks books. and his books are all based in the Carolinas. Because of him I have always wanted to live there. I don't think we will ever get a chance but thanks goodness I found your blog because now I can just imagine what life would be like there! Thank you for Sharing! The pictures are gorgeous :)

This makes me love living in Savannah even more. Things are always so pretty through your lens. You captured the park so beautifully....it's where I spend most of my time when I'm outside.
Next time you go to the Paris Market, you should get a french seltzer with pear and lavender syrup!
I've only visited Savannah once, but I wish I would have made it my destination in stead of just a stop along the way of my spring break. lovely photos Olivia!

After college, I had to decide between moving to Charleston and Savannah. Obviously I chose Charleston, but every time I go to Savannah I second-guess my choice. Such a cool town.
Ahh it is gorgeous there! Love it.
