a few great days in little old franklin.

my sweet little sister is now driving.

{WHAT?!}

the magic red gate in my backyard.

{isabel and i used to "run away" here when our parents were "mean"}

lunch at my favorite downtown cafe with the best fruit tea and cute colorful lights.

{it is connected to a cupcake shop, so sometimes we skip the real food}

i am in love with painting pottery, and now tyler is too.

{and i was a little jealous/extremely proud of all the attention his beautiful asian tea kettle got}

we love self-timer shots of the whole clan.

{followed by lovey dovey toasts and amazing food}

coming downstairs to a fresh pot of coffee and my dad wide awake makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

{plus his new pj's i got him for christmas look ador}

"paparazzi" is our new favorite game.

{all you need to play: camera, dog, sunglasses, cell phone)

That picture of your dad reminds me of being at my sisters house - we all gather around the kitchen table, just like we used to do when we were growing up. It looks like you had some wonderful family time this holiday! Have a great day, Olivia! xxoo

Such great photos. I too loved being the first one up making coffee, or the one coffee was made for... it's so good to be home sometimes, isn't it?

Glad you had a good one...

I have been trying to get my husband to paint pottery with me for years. He is artistically challenged, and knows I will make fun of him.
