my first little dinner party!

last night, i got to break in my new apartment with my first little dinner party! there is nothing more i could want out of a night than pretty food, amazing friends, candles and star lights, and old french music.

tyler and i got a little carried away...we bought an amazing new record player and listened to edith piaf live from paris as we cooked and cleaned for hours.
{this may or may not have had something to do with the fact that we saw julie and julia yesterday, which confirmed our plans of moving to france for at least a few years...}

everything about last night made me so happy...
it made me feel a little less homesick, and a little more at home.

It is a fabulous movie. Your dinner party looks incredible, Tyler talks about you so much a work I feel like I know you! Perhaps we should get coffee sometime and trade recipes?
