Whenever I am sad or upset or confused or just need to talk to someone, my mom is always the person I go to. Besides the fact that she knows and understands me better than anyone, she is just an extremely smart woman. On the phone earlier, she told me something that she has said before, but this time it really resonated within me.
People don't remember what you do, people remember how you make them feel.
I just wanted to share this little bit of insight, courtesy of mi madre.
I love Charleston, but I have never been more ready for a change of scenery. I cannot wait to get to my house in Nags Head for six weeks to rejuvenate myself and spend time with my family and friends.
On another note, is anyone else excited about July 15, 2009?
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince premiere???
I see another Harry Potter cake in my very near future...
(Harry Potter cake, circa 2005)

Liv, I'm not sure if it will be possible, but I hope so bad that I can go to opening night of the movie with youuuu!
black eyeliner scars, traditional robe apparel, and paint brush wands...
I've been ready for this for years.
If I'm not able to be graced with your presence, I know we will be together in our strong Harry Potter spirit.
Seriously, the giddiness about this movie is just below what I felt on my wedding day. Shhhh, don't tell the hubby!
