i'm from IOP, but stuck living in NJ right now. husband and i are down every summer for a few weeks, and should be back permanently in a couple years. Thanks for posting so many pix...keeps me from feeling too homesick. it's a little slice of home every day. chucktown is special to me.
couple of yummy food suggestions: get the fried green tomato stack at vickery's on shem creek, mt pleasant. so good.
the fish tacos at taco boy are a must. i know you are vegitarian, but wasnt sure if you do fish. their guac and salsa's are excellent.

such a sweet sentiment! I use my teacups I've been handed down to hold my jewelry in my top drawer of my dresser! Until someday when I have a hutch to display them in, they will make use in my dresser! Love your idea :)
I adore the beautiful stands! Now every time I'm in a vintage or resale shop, I always make a beeline for the kitchen section to scope out the plate possibilities! I'd love to make one for myself!
