french chocolate bark, ooh la la.





this might be the prettiest and the tastiest dessert i have ever made.

i used ina garten's wonderful recipe, although i used a version from
her cookbook which adds crystallized ginger, dried apricots, dried
cherries, and raisins. it was actually so easy to make, and i think it
would add a beautiful touch to a christmas present, wrapped in
clear cellophane and tied with raffia...

You're right, that recipe looks super easy :) My mom makes a bunch of cookies for family and friends at Christmastime, but she'll be gone this year on a cruise, and I'm taking over the cookie making duties, so I think I'll add this recipe to my list!
